Criminal Justice Reform

My work follows a three-tiered approach towards a more effective justice system: rehabilitation, reintegration, and breaking the intergenerational cycle.

Rehabilitation

We work towards restoring dignity and improving quality of life behind bars.

Reintegration

After release, many are forced to commit survival crimes due to stigma and the lack of economic opportunities. We help them secure jobs and start their own ventures.

Breaking the Cycle

Incarceration disrupts entire families, and one of the worst-affected stakeholders are the children of incarcerated parents. Their education is disrupted, they grow up in the absence of parental love and guidance, and often get trapped in the same cycle of poverty and crime. Our efforts to break this intergenerational cycle primarily focus on continued education, whether in the form of facilitating school admissions or providing vocational and educational workshops.
